Victoria’s renowned Peninsula Hot Springs has made the bold choice to remain open all year round, and will be opening its door on Christmas Day for the very first time in 2018. The luxury hydrotherapy destination has grown from strength to strength in recent months, unveiling a $13 million expansion in August this year.
According to Peninsula Hot Springs, they have decided to continue to cater to guests due to overwhelming demand for social bathing on the Peninsula at this time and over the festive season. This means they are now open 365 days a year.
Attendees will be able to enjoy most of the regular offerings and 30+ bathing experiences Peninsula Hot Springs has on tap, including geothermal pools, Reflexology Walk, Turkish hamam, saunas, plunge pools and other experiences, plus grassed picnic areas for guests wanting to pack their own Christmas feasts. The Bath House cafe will also be open until 8pm serving light meals, snacks and coffee. The Spa Dreaming Centre will remain closed.
Varying pool temperature options, including cold plunge pools, make the Springs the ideal Christmas destination, no matter the weather the day brings.
Of course it’s extremely rare for spas (let alone any business) to remain open on Christmas Day, but based on the demand and feedback they have received so far, Peninsula Hot Springs are expecting a relatively large turnout for their inaugural Christmas launch.
