Destroyed by cyclones in 2014, the most northern resort in tropical Queensland underwent a $45 million makeover over 16 months revealing white beaches and a spa where guests can indulge in signature rituals to rebalance, relax, and rejuvenate exclusively with La Biosthetique skincare.
“Essentia Day Spa has teamed up with La Biosthetique to offer guests a touch of Parisian luxury on their Lizard Island holiday and as we’re already providing a niche market of top tier spas and salons, a resort as prestigious as Lizard Island is the perfect fit for us,” Karen Aubin, La Biosthetique Marketing Manager, explains.
The newest addition to the island hotel, Essentia Day Spa offers La Biosthetique signature facials, body treatments and massages alongside holistic health and wellbeing services including Naturopathy, Iridology, Yoga, Meditation, blood typing, nutritional consultations and body assessment.
The beauty menu covers face and body treatments, water therapy, massage, hand and feet therapies, and other essential core beauty services such as hairdressing, brows and waxing. Signature treatments also play on the island’s exotic location and luxury surrounds with names such as Island Essence, Deep Ocean Ritual and Touch of Paradise – The Spa Journey delivering 195 minutes of head to toe indulgence.
