Kick Butt!

Ring the Christmas in July bells – it’s only six weeks, give or take a few days, till Spring. Well, I personally celebrate this!

It’s about now you’ll be seeing clients fretting over winter weight gain and loss of tone from partaking too much of the couch potato.

Many will be looking for a quick fix in preparation for warmer weather and wearing fewer layers that provide nowhere to hide.

Of course we all know, as do these clients deep down, that “quick fixes” tend to land you back where you started and often worse off than before.

This is a great opportunity for your business to set them on a new, life-changing journey, kick-starting their weight loss cum shape-up with body contouring technologies while reinforcing with education that it’s an ongoing journey, not a destination.

Recently I attended the Australian launch at Sydney’s Langham Hotel of LPG Cellu M6 Alliance from the makers of the legendary fat-reducing, cellulite-smoothing, body-shaping French technology Endermologie, a non-invasive mechanical skin stimulation technique that naturally reactivates cells’ metabolism.

The working principle of Endermologie is to stimulate the skin surface to reactivate dormant cellular activity, based on two exclusive patents for the body and the face.

For more than 30 years, the body treatment head has been based on two rolls – first mechanised and then motorised from 2010.

It has now been improved on with the new Alliance treatment head, combining the power of the roll and the intensity of a flap.

This new Endermologie patent combines the best of its proprietary technologies for more intense and faster skin stimulation.

The Alliance Skin Identity sensor allows the device to adapt precisely to the skin “identity” of each client so the intensity of the treatment is optimised.

It claims to provide a triple action in a single treatment: elimination of resistant localised fat, smoothing of “orange peel” signs of cellulite and strengthening of the skin with stimulation of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

The system also stimulates lymphatic drainage, which is a huge plus in my opinion when fluid retention is a key factor in looking and feeling blobby, and when the body is working extra hard to flush out detritus generated by lipolysis [fat burning], as Endermologie/Alliance does.

The LPG Alliance was launched to the Australian market with the Fight For Natural Beauty campaign

Okay, so what does this all mean to consumers?

More than 10 years ago I had a series of Endermologie treatments. Wearing the signature full white body stocking, I was “rolled” over eight sessions based roughly a week apart.

I definitely noticed a difference after the first few, but the treatments were long and not always comfortable.

I was treated to an Alliance treatment by Endermologie’s trainer for Australia, Maria Veracruz, who explained that unlike other permanent fact reduction systems, Alliance stimulates lipolysis naturally through its manual stimulation of tissue.

So then what happened …

The Alliance treatment kept on keeping on. I felt wonderfully relaxed in the day and days after treatment, but the following week I definitely felt a slimmer stomach and saw kilo or so weight loss.

But Maria cautions that one cannot be complacent. Alliance provides real results but these can only be sustained and maintained (with roughly once a month Alliance treatments after the first round) by observance of a healthier lifestyle.

Therein lies your chance to make clients for life!

Arnaud Fuster, Director of Research and Development at LPG, explains that “adding a motorised flap has provided a whole new dimension, because it brings a tangential (horizontal) dimension to the cellular stimulation which enables alternate compression on the skin for entirely new results as of the third session.

”The intensity of treatment and the mode of action are revolutionised. In terms of comfort of care, the progress is huge as maneuvers become negligible; the Alliance head now works “on its own” on the area which accelerates the mastery of the technique and hence optimises the results while facilitating the transmission of knowledge”.
