The Aesthetic Beauty Industry Council (ABIC) is Australia’s leading beauty and aesthetic industry body. ABIC is excited to host their inaugural ABIC Educational Conference in Melbourne on Sunday, 12th of February from 8am to 7.30pm. ABIC will be welcoming beauty therapists, dermal therapists, dermal clinicians, cosmetic nurses, cosmetic practitioners, specialist surgeons and clinic managers to a full day of education and inspiration at the Melbourne Convention Centre.


This will be the largest and most inclusive, non-bias aesthetic industry event to be hosted in Melbourne.

After a challenging two years of a global pandemic and natural disasters, ABIC aims to solidify the industry by bringing together all sectors to learn, connect, network and celebrate our wonderful industry.

The aim of the ABIC Educational Conference is to take your treatment journeys, results, careers, and businesses to the next level by meeting and learning from Australia’s industry leaders.


The MC for the day will be supplier member and industry icon, Grazina Fechner. Hosting delegates and representing ABIC for the day will be Industry Hall of Fame award winner, Emma Hobson.
Emma Hobson will also be hosting the first ever Presidents Panel which will consist of a president from every peak body; ABIC, Aesthetic Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, Cosmetic Physicians College Australia, Australian Society Dermal of Clinicians and the Cosmetic Nurses Association.


There will be dynamic presentations, speakers and four expert panels across the day. The panels will be unique case studies, with real clients from various age groups. These will be divided into those aged in their 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and those aged between 40 to 50 years. Each of these panels will consist of a representative of each industry sector, including beauty therapists, dermal sciences, aesthetic nursing, aesthetic doctors and surgeons. Guests will also be treated to morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a fabulous networking cocktail party.
