OPI herald trends at NYFW

Serve up next season’s trends for fashion-forward clients.

The proud parent of top-selling shade Big Apple Red, OPI is committed to New York and its streets of style — taking its latest nail trends to the catwalks of New York Fashion Week.

Aligning with visionary designers including Jeremy Scott, rag & bone, and Rodarte, OPI Lead Artist Miss Pop produced a series of nail looks easily adopted by your clients.

Nails looked plastic fantastic at Jeremy Scott’s Spring 2016 collection show as brightly coloured, super shiny nails delivered a retro vibe, accented with a pop art ‘cartoon flare’ on the pinkie nail.

Rag & bone took it matte and paired their Spring 2016 collection with a nail look imitating beach glass. Two coats of Indigo Motif (for a glassy look) was layered with a coat of Top Coat and then “frosted” with a coat of Matte Top Coat.

Mimicking the designers’ approach to layering sheer fabric, a key design note for the 2016 collection, nails at Rodarte featured metallic accents, softened by a peachy sheer top coat.

DS radiance French tip and Glizterland reverse French were ‘antiqued’ by a layer of custom blended Top Coat (a few drops of A Great Opera-tunity mixed with OPI Top Coat).
