You’ve heard of sheet masks, but not like this.
After years of success overseas, counting luxury hotels such as The Four Seasons, Bellagio, and The Ritz-Carlton as stockists, and with a celebrity following including Pamela Anderson and Jessica Alba, KNESKO is now available in Australia and has launched with a bang at Sydney’s Crown Spa. KNESKO Skin offers potent skincare ingredients in luxurious face, eye, décolletage, and lip masks and adds a sprinkle of spirituality through reiki inspired and gemstone infused topicals.
KNESKO founder, Lejla Cas, who calls Los Angeles home these days, spent a large amount of her life living in Australia, making this launch a special one for her. It’s a full circle moment for Lejla, who started KNESKO over 10 years ago at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel as her first hotel spa stockist. Then spa manager Melissa Vitalis took on the brand after trying samples Lejla had sent her, and now, Melissa is Spa Manager at Crown Sydney, bringing KNESKO to our shores.
Melissa saw a gap in the spa’s offering catering to spa guests using their Aqua Retreat facilities or relaxing by the pool. She was looking for a mask that guests could enjoy pool-side or as an upgrade to treatments such as massages, manicures, or pedicures.
“We are heavily booked as well, so KNESKO masks will give our guests a spa facial experience, even if they couldn’t get in for a facial treatment and have instead booked a massage,” Melissa says. “We will start offering KNESKO as treatment extensions and are looking forward to also having the products pool-side early next year.”
The idea is to have a therapist and a product cart by Crown’s pool area offering guests KNESKO express treatments as they enjoy the view over Sydney Harbour. Think eye and face masks and a rose quartz roller face massage all in the comfort of your pool-side cabana – genius!
So what makes KNESKO’s products different to other sheet masks on the market?
“All KNESKO masks and serums are using our Gemclinical® skincare technology, where we actually infuse gemstone therapy within our formulation. All of our serums are clean and clinical and conscious. So really luxe textures without all the unnecessary fluff, like the glycols, the silicones, the dimethicones,” Lejla explains. “Our masks are thicker than others on the market and include a lot of serum in each sachet, leaving enough to apply on your face and body and creating a spa experience at home.”
The brand encompasses six collections targeting different skin concerns, and while the formulations are scientifically backed and results-driven, there is a holistic, spiritual aspect to them as well.
“I’m a Reiki Master also so I actually charge all my products with healing Reiki energy promoting relaxation, calm and wellbeing. So you’re really getting a unique experience because our whole brand philosophy is inspiring our clients to slow down and to take care of themselves,” says Lejla.
Each product includes an affirmation on the packaging, encouraging clients to choose whichever resonates best with them. Lejla says there is no reason why results-driven, clinical skincare products can’t look pretty and feel luxurious. With KNESKO, you get both.
We can’t wait to have a pool-side KNESKO experience at Crown Sydney early next year.
