For many of you, today marks the first day back at work. And while there are many reasons to feel a little tired today, at least there’s one thing bringing a little excitement to this dreary Monday: The Golden Globe Awards.
January means it’s the start of award season, and we can’t help but curiously check out all the red carpet looks the stars are wearing. But what would a great designer gown be without a flawless complexion? In order to look their best, the Golden Globe attendees went through hours of prepping, hair, and makeup.
Of course, skin treatments were at the top of everyone’s priority list, and a few celebrities didn’t shy away from sharing their extraordinary getting-ready routine on Instagram. Let’s take a look at the facials, masks, and other beauty treatments the Hollywood A-list chose ahead of the Golden Globes:
The ‘The Marvelous Mrs Maisel’ star was clearly intrigued by the facial tools celebrity aesthetician Joanna Vargas used on her. Varga’s signature facial combines microdermabrasion, microcurrent, and oxygen-infused therapy to refine, lift, and tone skin.
Connie Britton and friend Adriana Alberghetti had fun getting ready together, and did it all at the same time: facial roller, sheet masks, and hair rollers to get the ladies glammed up.
TV host Giuliana Rancic kept it simple using a face mask from her own beauty brand, Fountain of Truth. The Honey Glow mask is deeply moisturising using Propolis and Amino Acids.
Talk about multi-masking! Actress Alex Borstein may not have been able to talk (or move much), but her neck, lips, and under eyes got treated to some serious hydration.
Makeup artist Jamie Greenberg treated actress Kayley Cuoco to some skin prepping Dermaflash, which removes peach fuzz and gently exfoliates skin.
