The Latest Laser

Bita Beyzaee, co-founder of The Laser Lounge.

With a focus on research and development, co-founders of The Laser Lounge – sisters Gita Coorey and Bita Beyzaee – were determined to source a hair removal technology that offered more to clients than previously available in Australia. ‘The Vectus Laser offers our clients a faster and more comfortable treatment experience, as it consists of a unique contact cooling quality and a larger spot size in comparison to alternate lasers available today,’ says Bita.

Gita and Bita also recently introduced the low-level laser fat reduction equipment i-Lipo to ensure they stay ahead of the technology curve.

The Laser Lounge clinics are opening at a rapid pace – with Queensland (Morningside) and South Australia (West Lakes) openings adding to Paddington, QLD, and Sydney CBD locations.

The Laser Lounge also partnered with the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science (specialists in dermal therapies and cosmetic nursing) in 2012. The student clinic is at the company’s main site in Castle Hill, NSW.

CORRECTION: In Issue 53 of Spa Australasia we reported that The Laser Lounge would be offering student training in the Palomar Vectus and i-Lipo. This is not currently being offered, but we’ll let you know if it does become part of the curriculum in the future.
