L’Occitane is well known in Australia for its signature Provence inspired aromatherapy beauty and lifestyle concept stores, but internationally it has been opening spas to deliver the unique L’Occitane experience in treatments since 2001.
The first Australian L’Occitane spa has now opened in the famed Cable Beach Resort on the 23-kilometre stretch of pure white sand in far north Western Australia.
Joining the L’Occitane partner stable of 60 spas in 22 countries, The Chahoya Spa at Cable Beach Resort & Spa will deliver the L’Occitane treatment based around the luscious brand’s best-selling ingredients and product lines: Anti-ageing Immortelle, nourishing Shea butter, detoxifying and contouring Almond and soothing Lavender. L’Occitane’s treatment philosophy is to combine those authentic ingredients with traditional therapies from all around the world (Swedish, Balinese, Hawaiian, Chinese Tui Na) and their signature fragrances and essential oils. Chahoya Spa will deliver the protocols created exclusively for L’Occitane by their team of spa experts, to offer a unique sensorial journey to the lands of Provence, and a true well-being escape.
The brand is currently working on another 30 projects worldwide set to roll out over the next three years. Caroline Le Roch, L’Occitane Australia GM says of the new opening at Cable Beach ‘Spa is a natural extension of the L’Occitane brand and we’re thrilled to offer our customers a new way to experience Provence in a luxurious sanctuary’.
On arrival at Chahoya Spa guests are greeted with a ‘Welcome Ritual’, a footbath performed with Aromachologie Effervescent Sugar Cubes. The sensorial experiential journey then commences, sequenced at every step by soothing or energising aromas. The voyage continues through gestures, sensorial textures, relaxing music and the herbal teas inspired by Proven””al traditions.
Each Chahoya treatment room has been given a name correlating with the scent it has been infused with. The signature treatment ‘Journey to Provence,’ unites Swedish and Chinese techniques with an hour-long L’Occitane facial.
