BTL Launches EMFACE With Spectacular Sydney Event

One of the most anticipated aesthetic technologies, EMFACE, has officially launched in Australia. Last Friday night, over 250 aesthetic practitioners, media, and influencers boarded the luxurious ‘The Jackson’ Yacht to cruise Sydney Harbour.

After welcome drinks and nibbled were served, it was time for the BTL team, including members who had flown in from BTL’s HQ in Czech Republic, to unveil the device. They were joined by Dr Steven Liew from Shape Clinic, who was the first practitioner in Australia to offer EMFACE.

“For the last two decades, clinicians have focused on treating the signs and effects of the ageing process rather than the root cause. Anti-wrinkles and fillers, while super effective, are merely dealing with the signs of ageing. We are looking at the technology to deal with some of the causes of ageing. Namely loss of muscular tone of the facial muscle, especially those responsible for lifting the eyebrow, cheeks and the lower face. These are the elevators of the face,” said Dr. Steven Liew.

Guests were invited to book in for a treatment to experience it themselves, with many describing the feeling of the treatment as “a weird sensation, but not painful at all.” EMFACE is a non-invasive hands-free device that simultaneously treats muscle and skin without any needles or downtime. The patented technology simultaneously emits both synchronised radiofrequency and HIFES energy to remodel the face.

This unique combination of energy targets the deeper layers of tissue from muscle, skin and connective tissues all at once. This provides a complete full face remodelling approach to provide enhanced facial definition. The achieved effects result in a slimmer and more defined jawline, better contour with fuller and higher cheeks, elevated brows, and an overall facial rejuvenation including wrinkle reduction and improved skin tone and texture.

The EMFACE applicators are placed on various muscles of the face, and in just four sessions lasting twenty minutes, there’s no preparation or downtime required, while the pain-free energy delivers a warm tingling sensation resembling a hot stone massage.

Guests were also treated to some entertainment by a speed painter, creating a stunning portrait of Elton John – painting it upside down – and Marilyn Monroe. A caviar and seafood bar was just as popular as soaking up the stunning sunset views of Sydney Harbour.

BTL Sales Director Gareth Pepper announced halfway through the night that they had sold several EMFACE devices during the launch party already, clearly proud of what his team had achieved with this event, which was put on with the help of industry event management legends The Production House Events.

Guests mingled, danced, and enjoyed themselves until the super yacht docked back at the harbour around 10pm. Here are some of our favourite photos of the night, curtesy of Clinical Imaging.
