Recipe: How To Make Frosé

Adeline Er* predicts that Frosé, aka Frozen Rosé, will be the new kid on the block this summer (but you can start practising now).

If this is the first time you have heard of Frosé – well, my friend, you have lots of catching up to do.

Have it with Sunday brunch. Or as a post work drink. Even better, make it at home and invite friends over for a bubbly spa night and Netflix.

Frosé is divinely refreshing and tastes a lot like a strawberry smoothie – but 100x better. Strawberries also make the imbibing highly justifiable from a health point of view(!).

Without further ado, let me share my very own recipe using only three ingredients. You’re welcome!

INGREDIENTS

2 bottles rosé of choice (I used Aldi South Port Estate Rose because it has won 204,810,284,102 awards and the best part is it costs only $4.99 a bottle).
2 cups frozen strawberries
3-4 tbsp maple syrup (depending on how sweet you want it to be)

METHOD

Decant a bottle of the rosé into an ice cube tray or zip lock bag and freeze overnight (or at least 6-8 hours).

Once your rosé ice is ready, pour all remaining ingredients into your blender and blitz  together (putting my trusty Froothie Optimum Blender into good use here).

Serve with a strawberry on top. A votre santé!
