BEAUTY & SPA Insiders has been rescheduled to take place in Sydney on Monday 26 October 2020, the organisers announced today.
The decision to reschedule the one-day summit co-hosted by SPA+CLINIC and Professional Beauty for salon, spa and clinic professionals has been taken in light of recent coronavirus (COVID-19) circumstances.
The one-day summit will still take place at Ovolo, Woolloomooloo in Sydney as originally planned, now on Monday 26 October 2020.
Craig Hawtin-Butcher, publisher of SPA+CLINIC, said, “Now is the right time for us to seize the initiative and provide certainty for our speakers, sponsors and delegates. For the sake of absolute clarity and certainty, rescheduling is the right thing to do.
“Are we disappointed? Absolutely. We’d had a great response about the event taking place again after last year’s successful launch and were putting the finishing touches to our speaker line-up, but we’re also clear about our role in the wider industry and the responsibility we have to take positive action. We owe it to the industry to support businesses and staff impacted by what is unfolding and not be a potential distraction.”

Glenn Silburn, publisher of Professional Beauty, agreed, saying, “We’re now working towards delivering an event that will allow the industry to regroup, to learn and to grow, together, at BEAUTY & SPA Insiders on Monday 26 October 2020. It’s on the same day of the week, at the same venue, just on a different date.”
