After an unpredictable year, iS Clinical is turning its focus toward its partners giving recognition to lift its community.
When we saw iS Clinical presenting its clinic partners with awards that recognise hard work and achievement, we were inspired. In an industry whose main focus is the client, it was great to see the clinical skincare brand uplift its partners and rally their community to support each other.
Presenting awards in two categories; Highest Sales Performance, and Most Innovative Social Media Account, the brand is setting an example and highlighting how important it is to celebrate every win.
Winner of Most Innovative Social Media Account, Lisa Rush, founder and director of Lisa Rush Skin Clinic, tells us the award was a great motivator for her small business.
“Receiving the iS Clinical ‘Most Innovative Social Media Account’ award was a great honour,” says Lisa.
“As a small business we may not yield the highest sales compared to other clinics however it was great to be recognised for our efforts to raise brand awareness and be dynamic with our social media messages.
“We loved receiving the award and it most certainly has been a great motivating factor for us to continue to strive for further growth and recognition in our industry. The physical award in clinic has also been a great talking point for our clients who were also excited by the achievement. Thank you iS Clinical and SPA+CLINIC for your ongoing support.”
We spoke to Fergil Mestanov, iS Clinical specialist, to learn more about iS Clinical’s awards.
Can you tell us a bit about the awards you use to recognise your clinic partners? How long have you been awarding these for?
iS Clinical was founded in 2001 and we launched it here in Australia & New Zealand in mid 2019. Our official launch for the iS Clinical brand was scheduled for March 2020. However, it was cancelled due to a national Covid lockdown.
The fact that we launched in 2019 has meant that 2020 was the first year we presented awards to our partner clinics. Innovative Skincare, the developer and manufacturer of iS Clinical, have had an iS Clinical Awards program in place for many years and we adopted a similar program for Australia and New Zealand. The awards are based on National Performance.
Why is it important to you to recognise your partners with awards?
It is extremely important to us to reward our partners for their achievements. It’s recognition for the countless hours the business owners and their team leaders have dedicated to marketing and running their businesses. This includes educating their teams and clients about the exciting range of iS Clinical products.
Our awards also highlight our partners commitment to achieving success within their industry. The award winners are leading the way and providing a great example to their peers of their dedication to our iS Clinical brand and we want to honour each of them for their support.
What are you looking for when awarding your partners?
The first category is based on performance. During a year that was filled with so much stress and anxiety we wanted to provide some positivity to our partners.
I would like to make a special mention of Maddison Temelkovski, the founder of The Aesthetic Clinic in Geelong (Editor’s note: pictured alongside Fergil in the featured image). Maddison’s clinic was our Top Performing Clinic in 2020 and her business was closed for a significant portion of the year. She is an example of all that we look for in a partner. Maddison was proactive during a time of extreme chaos and uncertainty. She took her business to a whole new level with around the clock virtual consults and is the definition of an industry innovator and leader. I worked closely with Maddison throughout this uncertain period including countless Zoom training sessions with her team to keep them inspired, motivated and excited about iS Clinical.
With our Most Innovative Social Media Award we were looking for a partner who showcased our iS Clinical brand. A partner who had a clear understanding of our brand positioning. iS Clinical is a high-end, luxury, results-driven skincare line and it is vital to convey that message in a beautiful and professional manner to their audience. Winner, Lisa Rush, nailed the brief.
What’s the general feedback like from your partners? Do these awards help to motivate spas and clinics in your network?
The feedback from our partners has been overwhelmingly positive and at times even emotional. It meant a lot to each of them as 2020 was a difficult year for everyone in business across all industries including the aesthetic medical and beauty industry.
I am sure these awards provide additional motivation to our partners as they all look to one another for inspiration. When an individual or a business is doing exceptionally well we should all celebrate their successes.
