Biologi Launches Professional Treatments

Australian cosmeceutical brand, Biologi, has expanded into professional treatments pairing their single ingredient active products with popular clinical experiences.

Having created their own category of skincare, Biologi are now taking their unique brand of active products into spas, clinics and beauty salons across Australia and New Zealand. Already on their soon to grow roster of clinic partners is The Sanctuary at Alceme in Tasmania, Lancaster & Co. Beauty Therapy in Ascot in Brisbane and Ultimate Indulgence in Garfield, VIC.

Biologi’s Dermal Specialist, Lucy Macdougald, says this exciting expansion has been a long time coming.

“This has been a passion of mine since the beginning. When Biologi first launched into the skincare arena, I actually recommended that our very first salon partner in Byron Bay use Biologi Serums in Skin Needling as I knew how well Biologi would work in aesthetic treatments,” says Lucy.

“My background is in dermal therapy and laser, so it has always been a personal ambition of mine to provide our salon partners with options to deliver professional skin treatments using Biologi.”

The move toward professional treatments has also been inspired by demand from clients who are looking for natural alternatives that actually perform.

“We’re actually finding that demand is driven by customers who are coming into clinics and asking for treatments that are more holistic and use fewer synthetic products. More customers are choosing ethically sourced and produced skincare but also want skincare that is active and gives results.

“Traditionally natural products have been deemed as inefficient and unable to make a positive change within the skin. Biologi is so unique in the way that our CLECS II system extracts the phyto-nutrients, minerals and vitamins without damage to the plants liquid matrix. This makes it unrivalled in the skin industry as a clean cosmeceutical.”

As they continue to expand into more locations, finding the right partners for Biologi is a priority.

“For us it’s incredibly important to do a thorough vetting process to ensure we work with clinics that maintain the highest levels of safety. We have a team who are armed with years of experience and training to ensure we choose clinics that meet these standards,” says Lucy.

“It’s also important for us to be aligned from an ethos point of view, making sure we work with clinic partners that have the same beliefs and philosophy towards skincare. With any of our partnerships we always want to ensure we are able to provide the highest level of support when it comes to understanding our products and knowing the best way to use them on the skin.”

Professional treatments such as Microdermabrasion, LED therapy, Sonophoresis, Dermaplaning and Skin Needling are now complimented with a tailored edit of Biologi products. And, in addition to traditional professional treatment offerings, a range of bespoke Biologi treatments have been formulated for the face and body. There are also many forms of aesthetic and dermal treatments available in the medispa and cosmetic clinic arena, where Biologi can be used as recommendations of both pre and post-care.
